The Library Classroom Plan gives all the students in Mrs. Rosenberg's library classes the opportunity to be successful, by positively managing their own behavior. This plan is discussed during the first library class of the school year.
RULES
1. Follow directions the first time given.
2. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
3. Teasing, name calling and cursing are NOT allowed.
4. Raise your hand--wait to be called on before speaking.
5. Use "library" voices.
CONSEQUENCES (for students who choose NOT to follow the rules)
1st time: Warning, name recorded
2nd time: 5 minutes time out
3rd time: Lose 10 minutes of recess
4th time: Lose an additional 10 minutes of recess and parents are called
5th time: Lose another 10 minutes of recess, parents are called, and student is sent to the Principal's office
Severe Clause--a student will be sent immediately to Principal if he/she: abuses others, breaks up the orderly atmosphere, confronts authority, or destroys property

special recesses, games, stickers
Each class session is a "new" class and a "new beginning."
